Dr. Hopf is a respected industrial engineering professional who has been the director of industrial engineering at Cabinetworks Group since 2020. With a career spanning over 15 years, she has garnered expertise in operations, continuous improvement, and process enhancement, which she leverages in her latest position. In her current role, Dr. Hopf oversees continuous improvement managers across every facility, coaching them to identify and execute over $15M in annual continuous improvement cost savings opportunities. She has been instrumental in revamping the company's operating system and developing a comprehensive lean operating system and tools training program. Dr. Hopf's leadership has been pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing operational efficiency within the company.

Based in Michigan, Cabinetworks Group is recognized as the largest privately held cabinetmaker with 25 locations and 19 manufacturing facilities. The company manufactures some of the most recognized kitchen cabinet brands, including KraftMaid, Medallion and Merillat.

Throughout her career, Dr. Hopf has held various roles that have honed her expertise. Her journey in the manufacturing industry began in 2003 as a machine operator at 3M, where she developed a foundational understanding of manufacturing processes. Dr. Hopf also worked for Bobcat Company as a manufacturing engineering co-op. In 2007, she joined GE Aviation, beginning as a composites sourcing co-op, advancing through the reputable Operations Management Leadership Program, and progressing to quality specialist and material planner. Dr. Hopf was recruited to acpi in 2013, where she progressed through several positions, including process engineer, senior engineer, plant operations lead, operations value stream leader, and business systems analyst between 2013 and 2019. She also briefly worked as a manufacturing project engineer for Polaris Inc. in 2019.

To prepare for her career, Dr. Hopf earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from North Dakota State University in 2008, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in 2012, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Walden University in 2024. Her dedication to continuous learning is evident through her numerous credentials, including LinkedIn certifications related to project management and operational excellence and Six Sigma Green Belt certification through the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Dr. Hopf's contributions extend beyond her professional endeavors as a member of the National Society for Leadership and Success and Delta Mu Delta. Civically, Dr. Hopf is deeply involved in volunteering at food kitchens, animal shelters, and Habitat for Humanity. She has also served as a staffer for the Ryder Cup. These experiences reflect her commitment to giving back to the community.
