Mr. Chaves was among the first responders during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Before his tenure with the FBI, Mr. Chaves was a detective sergeant at the Raynham Police Department in Raynham, Massachusetts, between 1984 and 1997. He once again proved his prowess as a lead investigator, earning him spots on popular TV shows like Unsolved Mysteries and American Greed.
Mr. Chaves boasts an impressive academic background with a Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Science degrees in Administration of Justice and Business. Recognized for his exceptional dedication to public service, the Massachusetts Bar Association admitted him to legal practice in 1995.
