His responsibilities included commercial arrangements, including offtake, finance, and engineering/construction.
Before his current endeavors in the United States, Mr. Moore served for over 15 years at Mercury NZ, an energy and telecommunications utility company, where he advanced from his position as the manager of strategy and planning to be the head of mergers and acquisitions. His expertise in large transactions and joint ventures was instrumental in driving the company's strategic initiatives, including leading a complex $3 billion scheme of arrangement with a listed renewables developer and overseeing the company's expansion into the telecommunications sector.
Mr. Moore's academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws, with honors, from Auckland University in New Zealand in 1999. His career began in law, practicing for approximately eight years in New Zealand and the United Kingdom before transitioning into business. In accounting for his overall success, he largely credits a combination of his formal legal training coupled with a predilection for wanting to understand the underlying drivers of commercial arrangements and a willingness to jump at professional opportunities, whether planned or otherwise.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Moore is kept busy with three teenage children who have diverse interests and passions. He is also an avid cyclist, runner, and swimmer.
