Having begun her career with Onsite Women's Health in 2018, Ms. Delony was a lead mammography technologist before advancing to area manager from 2019 to 2020. Before joining her health care facility, she worked as a mammography technologist at Margaret West Comprehensive Breast Center between 2016 and 2018 and DeSoto Imaging Specialists from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, Ms. Delony was an x-ray/medical technologist at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in 2016.
Before embarking on her successful career in the health care field, Ms. Delony demonstrated her versatility and practical staff management skills by owning and operating BabyCakes Bake Shoppe from 2000 to 2016.
Ms. Delony's academic achievements include studying English language and literature at Crichton College, graduating in 1993. Years later, she earned a Bachelor of Science in radiologic technology, summa cum laude, from Baptist Memorial College of Health Sciences in 2016 and a Master of Science in radiological sciences from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 2020. Ms. Delony's professional certifications further underscore her qualifications. She holds the certified radiology administrator designation from the Association for Medical Imaging Management. The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists also recognizes her as a certified radiographist and a registered technologist in mammography.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Delony is an active member of several industry-related organizations, such as the Association for Medical Imaging Management, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
Ms. Delony has been recognized throughout her career with several accolades, including a Second Place Award in the Vogel Essay Contest from the Tennessee Society of Radiologic Technologists in 2016 and the Power of One Award from Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in 2017. She was also awarded an ASRT Technical Writing Grant from the Association of Radiologic Technologists in 2017.
