START PAC® was founded in 1997 by her mother and stepfather, Judith and James Wurth. Based in Las Vegas, the family-owned and operated business specializes in producing a wide range of ground support equipment; manufacturing and supplying the world's most efficient, robust, and cost-effective portable and mobile ground power units and battery packs for jump-starting aircraft and other types of electrically started engines.

Miss. Storm's entrepreneurial spirit is not limited to her leadership roles at START PAC®. Her career is a tapestry of diverse endeavors, from operating a private tutoring business for children of various ages and subjects to serving as a personal assistant to the President of a record label in London, studying opera at the Trinity College of Music in London, and working as a singer and songwriter in Nashville and Miami. This rich history of entrepreneurship is a testament to Miss. Storm's versatility and adaptability.

Miss. Storm's academic achievements began by earning a music diploma in classical music and vocal performance from Trinity College of Music in London. Following this, she garnered a bachelor's degree in communications and history with minors in science, French, and Spanish, graduating cum laude, from Texas Tech University. After moving to Los Angeles, she completed a master's degree in clinical psychology from Phillips Graduate School in 2007, and a Master of Business Administration in aerospace and defense business management from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2009. Moreover, Miss. Storm completed doctorate coursework in clinical psychology.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Miss. Storm is actively involved in various civic-minded organizations. She supports scholarships for students involved in the aviation industry through the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and contributes to the James and Maia Reynolds Scholarships at Emory University. Miss. Storm's philanthropic efforts extend to organizations such as the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Jude's Ranch for Children, Nevada, The Animal Foundation, and the SHERO Foundation. Moreover, Miss. Storm uses the platform START PAC provides to act as a Goodwill ambassador for the U.S when she travels the world for her company, having studied and continuing to study languages to enable her to show her respect for other countries.

In addition to her professional excellence, Ms. Storm is a member of several prominent organizations, including the Helicopter Association International (now Vertical Aviation International), the National Business Aviation Association, the Railway Supply Institute, the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the European Helicopter Association, the National Guard Association, the National Agricultural Association of America, the Army Aviation Association, and the Airborne Law Enforcement Association.

Miss. Storm's dedication to excellence has been recognized through numerous awards, including being on the Presidents list and Deans' list repeatedly, receiving the Communicator of the Year award from her home city of Lubbock, Texas, and French Honor Awards from Texas Tech University.
