As such, he has been responsible for managing and overseeing the design, manufacturing, processes, quality control and other aspects of their success. Mr. Schutte's expertise in intricate calculations, practical field experience, and comprehensive understanding of piping processes and flexibility have enabled him to address significant plant vibration issues for major global companies.
Beginning his career as an apprentice Turner Machinist and serving in the military at the same time, Mr. Schutte's service laid the foundation for his disciplined engineering approach. He later succeeded in various engineering roles, such as a pipe stress analyst, piping/project engineer and project manager. He was also involved in the human genome project. Subsequently, Mr. Schutte served as a piping site engineer at KBR/TSKJ from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, he served as a project engineer at AGA on various other projects in West Africa.
In recent years, Mr. Schutte had the opportunity to work as a project manager at Furrnanite in 2014 and as a piping engineer at Cheniere Energy Inc. from 2014 to 2021, further honing his skills in solving complex piping situations.
Mr. Schutte's academic background includes a Mechanical Engineering Certificate/Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering with a focus on machine design from School of Technology in Durban, South Africa, from 1972 to 1976.
Active in his professional community, Mr. Schutte is a member of several industry-related organizations, including the Cryogenic Society of America and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He is also dedicated to his local community as a member of the Dubai Energy Chamber of Commerce and engages in volunteer work to support various causes.
