Mr. Yaro has established himself as a respected global health procurement and supply chain management professional. As the senior supply chain specialist for The Task Force on Global Health Inc. at Emory University since 2023, he leverages his former experience as a supply chain specialist on campus, beginning in 2016. In his role, Mr. Yaro coordinates the logistics aspects of the drug donation program to Ministries of Health in developing countries and provides technical assistance in strengthening the supply chain of health systems.
Before being named to his senior leadership position, Mr. Yaro was a logistics coordinator for The Task Force on Global Health Inc. at Emory University from 2016 to 2020. In this capacity, he provided logistics support to the donation program and collaborated with the Country's Ministry of Health and other organizations that focus on neglected tropical diseases.
Since 2020, Mr. Yaro has also served as the director of chamber relations for the U.S., Africa, and the Caribbean at the Pan-African American Chamber of Commerce. His position encompasses assisting American and African companies and organizations in mitigating risks through advocacy, access, and identifying investment opportunities.
Mr. Yaro's diverse background also encompasses roles outside of health care logistics, including being a certified trainer with Junior Chamber International from 2007 to 2017 and providing technical support at IBM Lenovo as a representative between 2015 and 2016. He also held various positions at Macy's, leading up to an omnichannel inventory specialist role in 2015. Before his tenure in the U.S., Mr. Yaro was the general manager of the Societe de Management des Services from 2005 to 2010 and a sales representative and manager at Motortrade SA Belgium between 2002 and 2005.
Throughout his career, Mr. Yaro has become widely recognized for his expertise in procurement, logistics, occupation, and drug management. His dedication to improving public health systems globally is evident through his work with ministries of health and government agencies across various countries. Mr. Yaro is particularly proud of his efforts to facilitate the donation of millions of dollars in medicine to countries like Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and the Central African Republic.
Mr. Yaro's academic background includes a Diploma from the Pacific Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Business Administration from INSTEC, a Master of Business Administration in marketing management from HEDEC Abidjan Ivory Coast in 2007, and a Post Graduate Diploma in global health procurement and supply chain management from Empower School of Health at Kent State University in 2020. He also received numerous certifications from reputable organizations, including the World Health Organization, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Cisco, in computer science, supply chain management, and health and humanitarian supply chain management. Mr. Yaro is fluent in English and French.
As a testament to his dedication to leadership, Mr. Yaro is an honored member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. He is also actively involved in civic organizations that reflect his commitment to community service. Mr. Yaro serves as a help desk facilitator for Friends of Refugees, is a community housing development organization board member for Habitat for Humanity, and mentors young professionals through Macy's Rising Star program.
In addition to his professional and civic initiatives, Mr. Yaro co-authored the Associates Cross-Training Program and Certification. This program was designed to train associates within his company to be more engaged and able to multitask.
