UNIONDALE, NY, August 15, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Howard G. McClintic has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Since 1999, Mr. McClintic has dedicated over two decades to advancing technology and addressing environmental concerns as the executive director of energy and recycling with Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC). Most recently, he has been instrumental in developing and advancing the Corporation's unique capability to have as well as have a domestic supply chain of rare earth element (REE) products, like neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) permanent magnets. Heretofore, these magnets were only available from China; Mr. McClintic determined that these magnets could be produced by CTC, create a domestic supply chain (that didn't exist) and serve both a military (DOD) and civilian markets. After CTC's currently under construction, demonstration unit successfully proves that this electric arc furnace (EAF) technology will yield these most important, widely-used magnets, a domestic supply chain will be established and China's monopoly broken, due to Mr. McClintic's research and development work with his colleagues at CTC; both the company and Nation benefit.

Besides co-authoring, authoring and presenting various Papers on extracting REEs from abundant coal fly ash at various venues, Mr. McClintic wrote a thorough analyses of profitably recycling retired wind turbine blades and steel stands in the Texas Panhandle in lieu of being railroaded and buried in graves dug in Cheyenne, WY in 2035; CTC's EAF technology is viable.

Mr. McClintic's academic background laid a strong foundation for his professional achievements. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., graduating in 1973, and then worked for the U.S. Senate Environment Committee during the formulation of the Clean Air as well as Water Acts. After serving as a Staff Officer at the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), he was the Executive Director of the Jefferson Energy Foundation, established by the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), through 1999.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. McClintic enjoys skiing and golf. Looking ahead, he aims to establish a domestic supply chain for rare-earth permanent magnets in the United States in the next five years, produced by CTC, a testament to innovation and sustainability.
