With a career spanning over two decades, Ms. Koerner has established herself as an expert in real estate sales and listings who uses her knowledge and access within the industry to serve others. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit and capacity to balance several leadership roles. Since 2018, she has served as the president and loan officer of MD International, MGI, a position in which she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and industry knowledge and went on to expand her reach to become the president of MD International Business Lending LLC in 2020.
Concurrently, since 2008, Ms. Koerner has also held an ongoing role with New America Realty, where she works as a real estate broker and provides management, production, sales and marketing services. Moreover, since 2009, she has held the title of chief executive officer of MD International Marketing Group Inc., a position in which she has specialized in real estate sales, home loans, and care for the elderly. Additionally, Ms. Koerner has owned Angels' Residence since 2012, a residential care facility for the elderly that provides over five residents and hospice.
Ms. Koerner's journey in the real estate sector began at Prudential Hunter Realty, where she gained experience working as a realtor from 2002 to 2003. Thereafter, she honed her skills as a realtor and loan officer at CFS Mortgage from 2003 to 2007 before briefly working with PB & Associates in 2008. Her entrepreneurial spirit then led her to establish Presto Home Loans Inc., where she served as chief executive officer and broker from 2015 until 2021.
Ultimately, Ms. Koerner's entry into real estate was spurred by a neighbor who encouraged her to pursue licensure in the field. Balancing two jobs while attending classes on Saturdays, she quickly transitioned to becoming a full-time real estate agent—a testament to her determination and work ethic. Along with her license, she holds various field-specific certifications, including certification as an international property specialist (CIPS), among others, and is a member of the National Association of Realtors. Along with her various real estate credentials, Ms. Koerner also holds a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from Centro Escolar University.
Throughout her career, Ms. Koerner has been lauded for both her dedication to helping her clients acquire their dream homes and her philanthropic and community-oriented spirit. Alongside her professional endeavors, she participates in international beauty pageants, such as Mrs. Asia - USA, and Mrs. Universe Philippines—a passion that inspired her to start a beauty and wellness center business in the Philippines. Ms. Koerner is a proud member of the Filipino community and holds membership with the Filipino American Associations. She is currently the President of AIOA and one of the owners of the Philippines Dream Team and Harvest Restaurant Bar & Café.
Ms. Koerner is also the executive producer of the action film "Umbag" and the music videos: "Don't You Know?" and "3:33," which were directed by Antonio Reyes. All of which were entered into multiple International Film Festivals, starred and composed by Marie Flows, an upcoming Filipino American artist. Ms. Koerner's ultimate dream is to produce creative music and direct inspirational movies for worldwide listeners and viewers. Despite her busy schedule, with hard work, focus, dedication, perseverance, and Faith in God, there are multiple projects in progress to fulfill this reality successfully.
Within her local community, Ms. Koerner is actively involved as a volunteer at her church and served as an ambassador for the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce from 2009 to 2017. Across all her work, both personally and professionally, she attributes her success to her desire to help others and consistently seeks out opportunities to celebrate and uplift those around her. Additionally, she employs multiple overseas workers, primarily single mothers that need a source of income to provide for their families.
