She served as the organization's Alternate Representative to the United Nations and as the Rapporteur for the Ecumenical Working Group/UN Taskforce at the United Nations. Dr. Lamour is fluent in multiple languages, which has aided her in navigating the complexities of international law and diplomacy.
Dr. Lamour's career began at the American International Group, where she honed her skills in management and administration. Her extensive experience has made her an expert in legal compliance, strategic direction and executive oversight. Further enhancing her expertise are her memberships in several industry-related organizations, including the World Federation United Nations-Haiti (WUFUNA-Haiti) and the Africa Development Interchange Network.
Dr. Lamour's academic achievements have significantly contributed to her professional success. She holds a Doctor of Divinity from Oval Bible College and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Theology at Next Dimension School of Theology. She earned a Master of Science in Jurisprudence with a focus on health law from Seton Hall University School of Law and completed coursework in health care compliance at the same institution in 2009. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication and education from Hunter College, City University of New York. Her certifications include being a licensed minister and licensed clergy member through the Kingdom Impact Movement, along with a certificate of health care compliance.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Dr. Lamour is actively involved in civic-minded organizations. She serves as a board member at Next Dimension School of Theology and is the international missions president and evangelist for the Kingdom Impact Movement.
Dr. Lamour's personal experiences have deeply influenced her career path. Two of her children have battled brain cancer, which inspired her to specialize in health law and establish her nonprofit organization. Her faith in God has consistently been the cornerstone of her journey, guiding her efforts to assist community members both nationally and internationally.
Outside of her career, Dr. Lamour enjoys going on cruises, engaging in conversations over meals, playing tennis and spending time with her local church. Looking ahead, she aims to expand the reach of her nonprofit organization to provide more aid domestically and globally.
