    BROOKLYN, NY, August 19, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Naterena A. Parham-Cofield, Ph.D., M.Ed., MSW, MBA, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Dr. Parham-Cofield is a distinguished professional in higher education administration and liaison for human resource management. Since 2023, she has served as the executive director of administration at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. In her role, she has been instrumental in overseeing the school's staff and operations, working closely with deans and associate deans, and managing faculty scheduling and workloads. Additionally, Dr. Parham-Cofield holds the position of adjunct instructor on campus.

Affiliated with Yeshiva University since 2019, Dr. Parham-Cofield was an academic administrator for two years before being named the director of administration from 2021 to 2023. Her extensive experience also included social work internships at various organizations, such as Samaritan Daytop Village Inc., Pratt Area Community Council, and Wurzweiler School of Social Work between 2018 and 2020. Earlier, Dr. Parham-Cofield was affiliated with Long Island University, starting as a secretary IV in 1992 and advancing to a student support coordinator and executive administrative assistant VI between 2002 and 2018 and as an adjunct instructor and adjunct assistant professor faculty member on campus from 2012 to 2018.

Dr. Parham-Cofield's academic achievements are a testament to her commitment to continuous learning. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in health service management from DeVry University, a Master of Business Administration in health services from Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University in 2011, a Master of Social Work in substance abuse and addictive behavior from Long Island University, a Master of Education in educational business administration from American College of Education, and a Doctor of Philosophy in management with a focus on human resources from Walden University in 2024. Her dedication to learning is further demonstrated by her certification in women in leadership from ELVTR in 2022.

Besides her degrees and professional certification, Dr. Parham-Cofield's dedication to her field is further demonstrated by her memberships in numerous industry-related organizations, including the Council on Social Work Education, the National Association of Social Workers, the American Management Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources.

In light of her hard work, Dr. Parham-Cofield received an Overall Outstanding Achievement Award from DeVry University in 2010. She was also selected to serve as the graduate class commencement speaker. Dr. Parham-Cofield credits much of her success to the support she received while working in educational environments, particularly acknowledging Dr. Samuel C. Jones for his mentorship and encouragement.

Dr. Parham-Cofield is also a faithful wife to James, a proud mother of four daughters, Shatavia (Sharyol), Ki-dẻsha, Britianna, and Jok-tania, and a grateful grandmother of three, Alena, Aiden, and Anahi. In her free time, she enjoys spiritual learning, indoor cycling, jogging, strength training, watching movies and TV series, spending time alone, and spending time with her family.
