Before entering her entrepreneurial role, Dr. Majors was the Equity Director at Columbia Legal Services in Seattle from 2014 to 2018. During her tenure, she led the organization through significant changes, implementing new policies and practices that advanced equity and belonging. Her work at Columbia Legal Services is chronicled in her book "Trust the Process: Reflections of a Nonprofit Race Equity Movement," which she considers one of her proudest achievements.
From 2011 to 2014, Dr. Majors served as the Development Director at The Sophia Way in Bellevue, Washington, where she was instrumental in advancing the organization's mission to support women experiencing homelessness. Before that, she was the Executive Director of Dress for Success Seattle between 2007 and 2009, where she focused on empowering women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support and professional attire.
Dr. Majors hosts the podcast "All Things Grace with Dr. Majors," airing every Wednesday. This show dives into various topics related to applying grace in everyday life, discussing everything from personal growth and workplace dynamics to broader social issues.
Dr. Majors's academic background includes a diploma from Franklin High School in 1989, a Bachelor of Business Administration from City University of Seattle in 1996, and a Master's Degree in Transformational Leadership and a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Seattle University in 2011 and 2015, respectively.
