Mr. Ferraro's career began with a strong foundation in service and discipline, having served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2001 to 2013. He served 5 combat tours between Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. His years of honorable service include numerous commendations such as the Presidential Unit Citation, Naval Unit Commendation with two stars, the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal with two stars, the Iraqi Campaign Medal with three stars and the National Defense Service medal. These experiences not only instilled a sense of duty and integrity but also prepared him for a successful transition into the financial sector.
Following his military service, Mr. Ferraro worked as an investment adviser and registered representative at MetLife from 2014 to 2016 before moving to MassMutual Great Lakes, where he served as a financial planner, investment adviser and registered representative until 2018. He then joined Wealth Strategies Financial Group as a field director and financial adviser from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, he became a financial adviser and consultant at America's Retirement Headquarters before taking on his current roles at Semper Salutaris and Dedicated Insurance Strategies.
In addition to graduating at the top of his class in the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Ferraro's educational background includes a diploma from Randolph-Henry High School in 2002. He furthered his professional qualifications by earning the Financial Services Certified Professional designation from The American College of Financial Services in 2017, along with Series 66 and Series 7 certifications. His persistence has been a critical factor in his success, particularly in an industry known for its high attrition rate.
A qualifier of the Million Dollar Round Table, Mr. Ferraro is also actively involved in civic organizations. He is a founding member of the University of Michigan Athletic Career Center Advisory Board. Since 2019, the center's mission has been to collaborate with other companies and professional sports organizations to provide internships and training to student athletes in an effort to prepare them for life beyond their sport. In addition to his responsibilities to his businesses, clients, boards, and student athletes, he has been giving back to his local community through high school wrestling officiating since 2018.
Outside of his career, Mr. Ferraro enjoys spending time with his family and church members, traveling, camping, kayaking, and being surrounded by nature's beauty. He also takes pleasure in tinkering around the house and working on various projects.
