Before her tenure at Deloitte, Ms. Silva was a computer science instructor at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri, from 2018 to 2019. She also gained experience in the classroom as a graduate teaching assistant in the computer science department and as a member of the university judicial board at Southeast Missouri State University between 2017 and 2018. From 2016 to 2017, Ms. Silva worked as a graduate assistant in the counseling and disability services department at Southeast Missouri State University.
Ms. Silva holds an Associate Degree in information technology from the Sri Lankan Institute of Information Technology Subsequently, she garnered a Bachelor of Science in cybersecurity and a Master of Science in technology management with a focus on cybersecurity from Southeast Missouri State University in 2016 and 2018, respectively. In addition to her degrees, Ms. Silva has received certifications that have bolstered her expertise in cybersecurity from CompTIA, Google Analytics, Splunk and LogRhythm Inc, and she plans to earn more.
As a dedicated member of her community, Ms. Silva is actively involved in civic organizations. She also participates in volunteer programs and other impact day activities organized by Deloitte, demonstrating her commitment to giving back.
