Ms. Borcoman, founder and chief executive officer of EVOKE: An Experience Agency, has established herself as an expert in the beverage and hospitality industry. Since founding EVOKE in 2018, she has dedicated herself to creating unique experiences, events, brand activations, promotional product sourcing, gifting, and branding strategies that help clients grow their revenue, improve relationships, establish loyalty, and generate referrals by strategically impacting all aspects of the customer experience.
Ms. Borcoman's career began at a young age when she was hired by Republic National Distributing Company as an on-premises wine representative in 2011. At just 21 years old, she was given one of the central territories in Houston and significantly grew the territory within a year and a half. This early success laid the groundwork for her future endeavors and taught her valuable sales skills.
In 2012, Ms. Borcoman transitioned to Katsuya Houston, an SBE property, as an event sales manager, where she focused on event sales and local store marketing. Although the concept did not make it in Houston, this role allowed her to draw on her college experience in sales and event planning. She then joined Patrick Henry Creative Promotions in 2013 as an assistant account executive before quickly advancing to senior account executive and later director of brand marketing and events. During her tenure from 2013 to 2018, she worked with high-profile clients such as Pernod Ricard, Red Bull, and MillerCoors.
Ms. Borcoman's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in hospitality management from the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management, and a minor in marketing from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, where she graduated in 2010 with honors of Summa Cum Laude. She also holds a Level 1 Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, also earned in 2010. Her education provided her with valuable networking and interpersonal skills that have been instrumental in her career.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Borcoman has been involved in several industry-related organizations, including the Houston Promotional Products Association and the Greater Houston Partnership. She is also committed to civic engagement as a founding board member of Echo 4 Us and a past involvement of various nonprofit organizations. Additionally, she works closely with Entrepreneurs Organization as a Strategic Alliance Partner as well as Heroes for Children.
Ms. Borcoman attributes her success to her outgoing personality and fearlessness in engaging with people at all levels. This quality has opened many doors for her throughout her career and continues to drive her forward. Outside of her career, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, attending concerts and events, and spending time with her dogs. Looking ahead, she aims to grow her company to a point where EVOKE becomes a nationally recognized name.
