Apart from her clinical work, Dr. Russell has been a research consultant at Embic Corporation, a medical equipment manufacturing company based in Newport Beach, California, since 2020. She has co-authored a number of journal articles on the subject of Alzheimer's disease and effective ways to measure cognitive change in clinical research. Her earlier experience included serving as a doctoral intern at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from 2019 to 2020 and as a clinical neuropsychology assistant at The Neurobehavioral Healthcare Center between 2018 and 2019. Dr. Russell began her career in 2012 as a research assistant at The Shankle Clinic.
Dr. Russell's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in health and wellness from Kaplan University in 2011, a Master of Arts in psychology from Pepperdine University in 2013, and a Doctor of Psychology with a focus on neuropsychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Los Angeles in 2020.
