He subsequently took on the role of senior resident engineer in 2019 before becoming a systems architect and site reliability engineer between 2020 and 2024, whereupon he was promoted to his current position as principal systems architect. Additionally, since 2022, Mr. Escutia Soto has been the chief experiments officer at La Rebelion Labs, where he continues to explore new technologies and product development.
Before joining Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Mr. Escutia Soto co-founded and led several startups. From 2014 to 2015, he was the co-founder and chief executive officer of ESSO Technologies. Previously, he founded SSINCO in 2006 and served as its CEO until 2013. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to co-found WiCan from 2009 to 2012. These ventures showcased his ability to innovate and lead, ultimately catching the attention of HPE.
Mr. Escutia Soto's academic background laid a strong foundation for his career. After earning a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Instituto Tecnologico de Morelia in 1999, he went on to receive a Master of Science in information technology from Tecnologico de Monterey in 2002. In addition to his degrees, Mr. Escutia Soto holds several certifications that have further enhanced his skills. Throughout his career, Mr. Escutia Soto has received recognition for his contributions, including awards from hackathons organized by HPE.
