Mr. Haar is confident that with increased marketing efforts, the user base will continue to grow.
Before establishing Eden, Mr. Haar served as the mobile engineering lead at News Corp from 2019 to 2021. In this role, he led the development of mobile applications, ensuring high performance and user engagement. Prior to that, he was the lead iOS and tvOS developer for video platforms at NBC Universal Media LLC from 2018 to 2019 after serving as a member of this group for the previous year.
Mr. Haar's career also includes tenure as an iOS developer at S44 from 2016 to 2017 and at Corpa in 2015. His early career saw him as an investment project manager at Meyers Associates and a project manager at Haar Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine PC. Additionally, he founded the firm Pritee LLC, doing business as Sharathon.
Mr. Haar's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business, complemented by a Finance Certificate from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2011. In 2015, he further honed his technical expertise by completing coursework in iOS Development at Mobile Makers Academy. He also holds Series 63 and Series 7 certifications from FINRA, which have been instrumental in his roles involving financial analysis and investment management.
Mr. Haar attributes his success to his deliberate approach and cautious analysis of market, political and media dynamics before making significant moves. This strategic mindset was particularly evident when he left his job in December 2021 to focus on Eden. The outbreak of war in Ukraine prompted him to reconsider his approach to bringing Eden to market, adapting to the shifting global attitudes towards relationships and human connection.
Mr. Haar enjoys playing tennis, meditating and being a guest on podcasts as hobbies. In the upcoming years, he envisions expanding Eden beyond its current scope as a social media and networking tool into an economic platform that continues to connect people.
