Prior to founding his mobile phlebotomy company, Mr. Delgado gained extensive hands-on experience in the health care field, which allowed him to harness his skills and build a solid foundation. From 2021 to 2022, he served as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician for prestigious companies such as UConn Health Center at the Outpatient Pavilion and Hartford Healthcare where he honed his skills in specimen collection and patient interaction. Previously, he worked as a patient service representative at Quest Diagnostics from 2020 to 2021, where he expanded his expertise in laboratory services. Additionally, Mr. Delgado was employed as a mobile phlebotomist with TridentCare in 2020 and served as a certified nursing assistant at Genesis from 2016 to 2021.
While working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Mr. Delgado obtained his phlebotomy technician certification in 2019 from the Academy of Medical Training, which was instrumental in launching his career in mobile phlebotomy. Prior to receiving this certification and gaining field experience, he completed a bridge program in general studies at the Connecticut State Community College in 2012. For his contributions and achievements as a phlebotomist and health care entrepreneur, Mr. Delgado was honored in 2022 as one of the 100 Men of Color in Connecticut, an esteemed recognition that highlights his remarkable accomplishments and leadership within the community.
Furthermore, Mr. Delgado has had the privilege of speaking at various schools, including Middletown High School, where he inspires and motivates students to achieve their goals.
