Dr. Ho's extensive career has made her an expert in medical research, orthopedic surgery, orthopedic surgery education, and tumor surgery.

    MORRISTOWN, NJ, August 26, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Yvette Y. Ho, MD, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Dr. Ho is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. She holds the title Director of Limb Salvage Surgery in the Department of Orthopedic Oncology and Sarcoma Surgery at Morristown Medical Center, part of the Atlantic Health System, in Morristown, New Jersey. In this role since 2023, Dr. Ho diagnoses and treats benign and malignant tumors involving bone and soft tissue of the extremities, pelvis, and shoulder girdle. She is also proficient in performing fracture repairs and joint replacement surgeries.

Before relocating to New Jersey, Dr. Ho was an orthopedic oncology surgeon and assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston from 2022 to 2023. She also garnered success and expertise as the first orthopedic oncology surgeon with Kaiser Permanente, Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, in the Washington DC region, between 2016 and 2022. Dr. Ho's extensive career has made her an expert in medical research, orthopedic surgery, orthopedic surgery education, and tumor surgery.

Dr. Ho's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from Princeton University in 1999. She then earned a Master of Science in biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University in 2004 and a Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University in 2008. Dr. Ho's postgraduate training included a surgical internship at the University of California San Francisco, an orthopedic surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and an orthopedic oncology fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Additionally, Dr. Ho holds medical licenses in Texas and New Jersey and has board certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

In addition to her expertise, Dr. Ho is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, the American Medical Association, and the Medical Society of New Jersey. Besides her work-related endeavors, she is committed to community involvement and volunteers as the Community Service chair for the Princeton Club of Northwestern New Jersey.

Dr. Ho remains dedicated to advancing awareness and education about musculoskeletal tumors to provide up-to-date treatment options for all her patients. She credits her success to her compassion and dedication to her patients and the trainees with whom she works.
