RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA, August 26, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Greg Kading has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Kading is a distinguished professional known for his expertise in solving complex cases that have long eluded law enforcement. Following a successful career with the Orange County Sheriff's Department in Santa Ana, California, and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), he found remarkable success as the founder of One Time Publishing LLC from 2011 to 2013 and as the author of his highly acclaimed 2011 book, "Murder Rap: The Untold Story of the Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations." Mr. Kading's book was notably turned into a documentary, "Murder Rap: The Untold Story of the Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur Murder," in 2016 and adapted into a television series called "Unsolved" in 2018, further cementing his reputation as an expert in high-profile criminal cases.

In addition to the success of his book and subsequent fame, Mr. Kading launched On Sight Inc. in 2013. The company offers professional investigative and consulting services throughout Southern California. Specializing in criminal and civil matters, he and his team of highly-trained and experienced investigators rely on state-of-the-art technology, with services including surveillance, interrogations and interviews, asset searches, background investigations, and more.

Mr. Kading's investigative prowess is most prominently showcased through his work on two historically controversial, unsolved mysteries: the murders of rappers Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur. His efforts led to the arrest of the individual responsible, who had confessed in 2009 but whose self-incriminating statements could not be used against him. This breakthrough allowed Mr. Kading to write "Murder Rap," which gained significant attention and ultimately contributed to the individual's public admission and subsequent incarceration. The case revealed that Suge Knight had solicited Biggie's murder as retaliation for Tupac's shooting, highlighting the complexities of gang-related activities and their impact on law enforcement investigations.

Mr. Kading's extensive background in law enforcement began as a deputy II with the Orange County Sheriff's Department between 1986 and 1988. He then pivoted, garnering a tenure as a homicide investigator with the LAPD from 1988 until his retirement in 2010.

Mr. Kading graduated from Capistrano Valley High School in Mission Viejo, California, in 1981. Subsequently, he studied political science and government at California State University in Long Beach between 1982 and 1985. He also completed coursework at Calvary University from 2002 to 2008.

In addition to his education, Mr. Kading is an active member of industry-related organizations, such as the California Homicide Investigators Association and the Southern California Gang Association. Additionally, he is involved with civic-minded organizations like the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kading has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Federal Medal of Valor and the Police Star. In addition to his investigative achievements, he has been featured in prominent publications such as Rolling Stone, New York Magazine and Grazia Magazine.

Mr. Kading's career is marked by significant accomplishments in law enforcement and literature, underscored by his dedication to solving some of the most challenging cases in recent history. His contributions continue to resonate within both professional circles and popular culture. Looking ahead, Mr. Kading is considering hosting a podcast to share his wealth of knowledge and experiences.
