Mr. Arnone served in his leading role from 2016 to 2024, during which time he was instrumental in securing stable funding from an expanded network of donors, sponsors, and grantors. He also secured greater visibility for the academy and helped it garner renewed recognition. Furthermore, Mr. Arnone chaired the Academy's Board of Directors between 2013 and 2016. He was a Founding Board Member in 1987. His leadership also extended to the Employees Benefits Research Institute (EBRI) in Washington, D.C., where he was a Board of Trustees member. Among other involvement, he chaired the Buckley Country Day School's Board of Trustees.
Mr. Arnone co-authored the "Ernest & Young Retirement Planning Guide" in 1996, further establishing his authority in retirement planning. He also contributed his expertise as an editor for the Columbia University Retirement Guide in 1984. His social security, writing and speaking expertise has significantly impacted the field.
Mr. Arnone's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Fordham University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from New York University.
