Her extensive experience also included a significant tenure as an English facilitator with Gary Community Schools Corporation from 1999 to 2019. During this period, the U.S. Department of Education recognized her educational contributions in one of its publications. Between 2011 and 2017, Ms. Golston was a certified lead teacher with New Tech Network.
Ms. Golston's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Purdue University in 1994. Subsequently, she received a master's degree in education and completed the principal licensure program at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2013 and 2016, respectively.
Ms. Golston's leadership extends beyond administrative duties. She is a professional member of the Indiana Principals Association and actively supports her colleagues to positively impact her surroundings.
