During this period, he was instrumental in managing digital global payments and comprehensive programs comprising legal and regulatory projects such as CCPA, CPRA, CDPA, CPA, etc. From 2016 to 2020, he held the position of enterprise cloud solution architect at Toyota North America, where he played a crucial role in multi-year, multi-million organizational cloud migration, and data center migration program initiatives and developing other innovative solutions.
Dr. Ayyalasomayajula made significant contributions as a principal engineer and architect at Mahindra Comviva from 2007 to 2015. He was pivotal in building Comviva's flagship product suite, MobiLytixTM, and Comviva Ngage Communication & Network Platform as a Service (CNPaaS), a Messaging Service Delivery Platform serving 200+ million telecom mobile subscribers worldwide. His earlier roles include system analyst positions at Indofuji Information Technologies in 2007 and from 2005 to 2006, systems engineer at Fujitsu Systems Business (Thailand) Ltd. from 2006 to 2007, application engineer at Telelogic Inc (now IBM) from 2004 to 2005, fellow associate at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2002 to 2003 and software engineer at Access Center Private Limited from 2001 to 2002.
Dr. Ayyalasomayajula's academic achievements have significantly contributed to his professional success. He earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, physics, and chemistry from Andhra University in 1997, a Master Computer Applications(MCA) from Osmania University in 2001, and a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the University College of Engineering, Osmania University in 2005 before completing his Doctor of Science in Computer Science at Aspen University, USA in 2024. His certifications include Information Privacy Security (IPS); Social Behavioral Educational Researchers; and Social, Behavioral, and Education Sciences (RCR) from CITI Program in 2022 as well as the managerial excellence program from XLRI Jamshedpur in 2013.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ayyalasomayajula has been recognized for several notable achievements. He was the principal architect and key contributor in designing, architecting, and developing two acclaimed products, Revenue Plus, and IRIS, at Comviva, which garnered national recognition and received two Aegis Graham Bell Awards. He has also received certificates of appreciation for his work with Toyota and The Art of War from Mahindra Comviva, among others. Additionally, he was honored with a scholarship from the University College of Engineering, Osmania University, by the All-India Council for Technical Education. Dr. Ayyalasomayajula was honored as an MSTI and DSCS program advisory board member for the Aspen University School of Business and Technology.
