Following his military tenure, Mr. Miller joined Target as a logistics manager. In 2017, Dane transitioned to Amazon, where he held several key positions. He started as an area manager and quickly advanced to a senior manager position. During COVID-19, Dane functioned on a response team that guided North American last mile delivery through the pandemic. Dane was instrumental to the crisis management team that consulted Amazon executives daily.
Mr. Miller's academic accomplishments set the stage for his professional achievements. He obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in 2018 and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Columbia College in 2015. Additionally, he achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Lindenwood University in 2008. Beyond his formal degrees, Dane also obtained a certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School in 2019 and Human Resources Management from Wharton in 2023.
Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Miller has experience contributing to various organizations outside his primary vocation. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for a non-profit, which he established to support refugees. The foundation focuses on humanitarian efforts, providing relocation assistance, and facilitating basic needs for IDPs. Mr. Miller previously held the position of Chief Operations Officer for a partner non-profit organization also supporting refugees. Additionally, Dane mentored youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Boston from 2019 to 2020.
