He started his Medical journey as an intern in Family Medicine at Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1988. Dr. Lockrow's contributions extend beyond teaching; he has authored articles for professional journals and remains actively involved with civic-minded organizations such as The American National Red Cross.
Outside his professional life, Dr. Lockrow enjoys playing golf. Looking ahead, he plans to maintain his focus on research and robotic surgery at the university. He is currently involved in a research grant to establish communication protocols for robotic surgery across different states, facilitating subspecialty surgeons' deployment in remote and challenging settings like rural areas, battlefields, and large carrier or humanitarian ships such as the Mercy or Comfort.
