Prior to his current roles, Mr. Rapatalo was affiliated with a social impact search and consulting firm from 2014 to 2020 as a search consultant and Associate Partner. Among other noteworthy roles, he was a Mentor at ArcVidaDirector of Admissions at New Leaders and a talent management consultant and Director of Recruitment and Selection at Newark Public Schools in Newark, New Jersey. He also spent several years at New Leaders, working in various admissions and recruitment capacities. Mr. Rapatalo's expertise in business development, executive search hiring, career coaching and leadership coaching has become widely recognized.
Mr. Rapatalo has held a Bachelor of Science in neural science with a minor in mathematics from New York University since 1997. He has remained active in his community as a member of Education Leaders of Color since 2017, reflecting his commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the education sector. He was also a council member for NationSwell.
