SADDLE RIVER, NJ, September 10, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Charles Vialotti, MD, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After earning a bachelor's degree from Columbia College, Dr. Vialotti earned an MD from New York Medical College. Subsequently, he pursued an internship through St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center of New York before completing a radiation oncology residency at University Hospital in New York City. Dr. Vialotti gained valuable radiation oncology and leadership expertise in the following years through the New York University Medical Center, Holy Name Hospital, and the National Cancer Institute.
In 2011, Dr. Vialotti joined Villa Marie Claire as a hospice medical director, a role he embraced with unwavering dedication. His commitment to his work is evident as he oversees patient units and nursing stations, ensuring immediate changes in management or medication when necessary. His early morning duties include providing his physician assistant with a comprehensive report on patient medications and history over the previous 24 hours, and offering palliative and supportive care. Dr. Vialotti's dedication extends to reviewing medical records from referring institutions, receiving referrals from hospitals across New York, New Jersey, Florida, and California, and fostering close collaborative relationships with various entities, including Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York.
Due to his vast knowledge, Dr. Vialotti has authored numerous technical papers on positron emission tomography, computer tomography fusion planning, and functional anatomic imaging in radiation therapy. He has also been featured in press mentions for "Making End-of-Life Care Planning a Priority" and "Man with Terminal Cancer Spends Precious Time Helping Those in Hospice."
While Dr. Vialotti's career has been filled with highlights, including earning a Top MD Award from Consumers Checkbook, he is not one to rest on his laurels. He takes the most pride in establishing and expanding the cancer program at Hackensack Hospital, the radiation program at Passaic Beth Israel Medical Center, and the cancer center at Holy Name Hospital. Additionally, he is grateful for his collaboration with Mike and Patrick Maron at Villa Marie Claire. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his compassion, concern for patients and families to his father, who was an inspiration, practicing medicine to the age of 97. Looking toward the future, Dr. Vialotti intends to continue positively impacting others through Villa Marie Claire, a goal that fills him with hope and determination. For Dr. Vialotti, the Villa Marie Claire is a living entity that Michael Maron's vision and support brought the seed which Diane Maron's talents brought to flower and that Patrick Maron's brilliant leadership and dedication has brought to fruit.
