Six years later, Dr. Zeng began leveraging his considerable expertise as a pharmaceutical professor and director of research at the University of Kent's Medway School of Pharmacy. Likewise, he led the development of numerous inhalation products as the vice president of global respiratory research and development for Teva Pharmaceutical Industries between 2006 and 2013. In the following years, Dr. Zeng continued leveraging his vast experience in the pharmaceutical industry and expertise in inhalation medicines to lead global teams in the development of inhalation products through executive roles with Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Dr. Zeng's contributions to the pharmaceutical industry are noteworthy. His years of drug development expertise culminated in the founding of Transpire Bio Inc. in 2022. As chief executive officer, he established a respiratory research and development center in South Florida and leads multifunctional research and development teams in providing effective and targeted drug delivery systems for lung diseases. While his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Zeng takes the most pride in his establishing three inhalation research centers in south Florida over the past 17 years since relocating to the US, his pioneering research in aerosol technology, his selection as a professor at the University of Kent's School of Pharmacy, and obtaining executive roles with Teva and Lupin Pharmaceuticals.
