He currently serves as the principal global strategic marketing leader for automotive structures at Ascend Performance Materials LLC, a position he has held since 2021. In this role, he drives new product developments, focusing on identifying necessary products to build a robust portfolio and overseeing the entire process from research and development to market introduction. His work primarily revolves around structural automotive applications, where he leads the company into innovative areas, building successful businesses and addressing underperforming ones.

Before joining Ascend Performance Materials, Mr. Kosse had an extensive career at Celanese. From 2017 to 2021, he was the global profit and loss manager for long fiber thermoplastics composites and polypropylene amorphous. In this capacity, he managed financial performance and strategic initiatives for these product lines. Prior to that, he served as the global automotive program manager from 2015 to 2017, where he oversaw various automotive projects and ensured their successful execution.

From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Kosse was the Celstran global marketing manager at Celanese, responsible for developing marketing strategies and driving growth for Celstran products. He also held the role of strategic sourcing leader from 2010 to 2013, where he managed procurement strategies and supplier relationships. Earlier in his career at Celanese, he worked as a global supply chain planner from 2007 to 2010, optimizing supply chain operations. Before his tenure at Celanese, he was a buyer and planner at Avery Dennison from 2004 to 2007 and a technical specialist at General Electric Manufacturing Company.

Mr. Kosse's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in logistics and materials and supply chain management from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, which he earned in 2001. He also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from General Electric obtained in 2002. He attributes much of his success to the mentorship he received throughout his career, which helped shape his professional development.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Kosse is actively involved in industry-related organizations. He serves on the board of the automotive division of the Society of Plastics Engineers and is a member of the Sports Car Club of America. His expertise in automotive structural applications, aerospace technology for electric vehicle battery systems, and sustainable recycled solutions in the automotive space has earned him recognition within the industry.

Mr. Kosse's commitment to sustainability is evident through his recent project with Ford Motor Company, where he launched a recycling program aimed at replacing approximately four million pounds of prime material with sustainable polymer. Outside of his professional life, Mr. Kosse enjoys automotive racing, Formula One racing, traveling and driving. Looking ahead, he hopes to begin consulting while working remotely and envisions his family living in the Virgin Islands.
