He previously honed his skills in various roles in account management with his last position as account executive at POMCO between 2009 and 2017. Mr. Knapp's career also included positions outside the health insurance sector as a Craft Beer Operations Supervisor at L. Knife & Son Inc., an Operations Specialist at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, and a Junior Stockbroker of private clientele at Chicago Investment Group in New York City.

His credentials include Leadership Greater Syracuse and licensure as a health/life agent/broker in fourteen different states. Mr. Knapp's commitment to professional development is further demonstrated by his active membership in the National Association of Health Underwriters since 2014. Outside his professional sphere, he is involved with several organizations reflecting his commitment to community service and personal growth. Mr. Knapp serves as a financial advisor for Leadership Greater Syracuse and sits on the young leaders' advisory board for The Salvation Army Syracuse Area Services. Additionally, he supports the Angelman Syndrome Foundation whenever possible.
