Ms. Patregnani's professional presence in theatre began in 1989 and her exceptional talent and unfailing commitment to her craft remain readily apparent. She attended the acting school at Teatro Stabile in L'Aquila and completed postgraduate courses at the Accademia D'Arte Drammatica "S. D'Amico" in Rome. She also studied piano at the Conservatory "L. D'Annunzio", Pescara, and graduated in Italian Literature at La Sapienza University in Rome with a thesis in Anthropology. She participated in several productions of Teatro Stabile d'Abruzzo, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Orchestra Regionale of Tuscany, Teatro La Comunità (directed by G. Sepe) and Officine Teatrali (directed by N. Ferrara, and as a narrator in works by C. Debussy, G. Petrassi, F. Pennisi, M. D'Amico, C. Boccadoro, G. Nottoli, A. Gentile, E. Morricone, G. Costantini and Luciano Bellini.

Her most recent credits include: Italian Futurism Centennial: Science and the Unknown or Synthesis of Syntheses - UCLA, directed by J. Kellam; Henry IV by Pirandello - IIC Los Angeles; Galileo 1610, Steve Allen Theatre LA; Unperformable by Rudy Perez- USC, LA; HERSHEME by C. Strickland, Acting Out Festival, LA. In 2014 she produced Orgasmo Adulto Escapes from the Zoo di F. Rame e Dario Fo, and The Marriage Proposal by A. Chekov and Etty Hillesum: A Voice outside the Camp.

Since 2020 she is the President of The Azzurra (www.theazzurra.org), a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles founded in 2007 to advance the cause of human dignity and personal expression, through the exchange of culture between Italy and California.

She performed as a narrator in the Operas Migranti and Il Pesce Cola by Luciano Bellini at University Tor Vergata, Rome, and in The Soldier's Tale by I. Stravinsky at the Rome Chamber Music Festival (Palazzo Barberini), The Complaint of Peace by Desiderius Erasmus, music by E. Morricone at XXI Music Summer Frentana-Lanciano.

She collaborated with Aspen Institute in Colorado to coach opera singers in improving the Italian language. As a dancer /performer she is a member of the Rudy Perez Ensemble, a modern dance company based in Los Angeles. She is a passionate Tango dancer. She plays the leading role in the project MARY by American video-artist Bill Viola (permanent installation at St. Paul 's Cathedral, London).

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Patregnani enjoys dancing, following performing arts events on both U.S. coasts, and consuming poetry and literature. Looking toward the future, Ms. Patregnani aims to expand her involvement in acting and producing projects, confident that her broad skills and applicable experience will enable her to effectively engage with other creatives active in these contexts.
