LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL, September 23, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brendan Flores, MBA has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A seasoned business executive with years of operations management, human resources, business development, and community relations expertise, Mr. Flores excels as the senior vice president of consumer vehicle lending channel integration for Bank of America. In this multifaceted role, he ensures effective communication across different channels and departments, oversees channel integration initiatives, manages relationships with Merrill Lynch and private bank executives, and liaises with product managers regarding market strategy development. Since joining Bank of America in 2022, Mr. Flores has introduced innovative strategies to increase engagement, drawing on his extensive experience in retail banking. His efforts have significantly boosted loan applications, highlighting his exceptional leadership.

In addition to his work with Bank of America, Mr. Flores is the first millennial and youngest-ever elected national chairman of the National Federation of Filipino American Associations, where he previously served as president. As a representative of the organization, he leads a large network of dedicated leaders across the country, all committed to being a powerful voice for over 4 million Filipino-Americans, advocating for their interests and ensuring their concerns are represented at every level. His efforts have led to significant achievements, such as the approval of the WWII Veterans' Congressional Gold Medal bill through symbiotic partnerships with national organizations. Together with other Filipino American organizations, they led the effort that resulted in President Joe Biden naming a ship after a Filipino American hero of WWII—the USS Telesforo Trinidad. He also spearheaded the most successful Filipino American Heritage Night at Madison Square Garden.

During the early stages of his career, Mr. Flores honed his banking industry expertise through various roles with Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Through Wells Fargo, he accomplished amazing pre- and post-conversion results in the Eastern bank by leading Wachovia's transition efforts to Wells Fargo in five counties in Central Pennsylvania. He significantly exceeded regional partner referral performance through strategic coaching and mentoring. Additionally, Mr. Flores established innovative programs that boosted employee engagement and loyalty, leading to a substantial reduction in turnover.

An expert in his field, Mr. Flores holds a diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace certificate from the University of South Florida's Muma College of Business, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Leadership and Organizational Management from the University of Arizona, and an MBA in international business, technology, and innovation from the University of Arizona Global Campus. Similarly, he completed the Oxford Executive Leadership Program through the University of Oxford's Said Business School and executive education in global business and politics through the Yale School of Management.

Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Flores aligns himself with several organizations, including Filipinos Advancing Creative Education, the Academy of Finance's Alumni Leadership Circle, through which he serves as chairman, and the Federation of Filipino American Chambers of Commerce, and the Head of the Global Advisory Board for the PUSO Foundation. In conjunction with his work, he has contributed to his community as the scholarship committee head of the Clark County Public Education Foundation, co-president of internal Black African American Connection, Membership Development Chair for the Hispanic Latino Segment and a board member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Given his outstanding achievements, Mr. Flores received the Filipino American Community East Coast Trailblazer Award, the ABS-CBN Network's Global Filipino American Hero Award, a Global Leadership Excellence Award, and the Keiser University Choice Award for Minority Business & Community Leadership. He was also honored in the Top 10 Most Influential Filipino American Leaders in the Country, the Top 10 Most Influential Filipinos in the World by WorldRemit, and the Florida Business Observer 40 Under 40 on the Gulf Coast. He is also the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Recipient by the Outstanding Filipinos in America and the recipient of President Biden's Community Service Award. He is a Recipient of the National Association of Asian Pacific's in Politics and Public Affairs Top 40 AAPI political operatives and public affairs professionals under 40 in the United States.

While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Flores takes the most pride in his ability to inspire people across generations. He is the first millennial and the youngest person to hold the highest role with the National Federation of Filipino American Associations. He is also among the youngest leaders in major nonprofit organizations within both the Asian American community and the mainstream. Additionally, Brendan is the only Filipino American thus far to have assisted in the Filipino American History Month Celebration with three consecutive administrations, from Obama to Trump to Biden.

Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Flores credits his success to witnessing the challenges his mother, Marilyn, overcame while raising her children, as well as his grandmother, Flora, who played a crucial role in his upbringing. Within the next five years, Mr. Flores intends to continue serving as a voice for the Filipino-American community.
