Originally intent on pursuing dentistry to follow in her father's footsteps, Dr. Moore earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Subsequently, she was called to venture into veterinary medicine and earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. Additionally, Dr. Moore completed two years of a veterinary dentistry residency program through the American Veterinary Dental College, received a vet stem cell therapy certification, and earned a United States Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service National Veterinary Accreditation.
During the early stages of her career, Dr. Moore honed her expertise in integrative medicine, combining holistic and Western medical approaches at a small animal practice. However, after a corporation acquired the practice and she gave birth to her first child, Dr. Moore decided to leave the corporate environment. Backed by her considerable expertise and unwavering dedication to her profession, she established Monte Vista Animal Hospital in 2019. In addition to health screenings and nutrition consults, Dr. Moore offers behavior counseling, microchipping, dental solutions, imaging, and surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Moore aligns herself with several industry organizations, including the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Dental Society, the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry, and the Veterinary Information Network. In addition to her professional endeavors and affiliations, Dr. Moore contributes to those less fortunate through CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada and the Nevada Humane Society.

While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in launching and expanding her medical practice during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
