In this position, he closely works with Chief Information Officer, Chief Product and Data Officers and Engineering Leadership to develop architecture vision and roadmap, technology strategies aligned with their business and product vision. He along with his team of principal and senior enterprise architects works on NextGen Architecture for Retail Industry, eCommerce, Supply chain, In-Store systems, Pharmacy, Health and Wellness to give consistent, seamless, and integrated omni channel experience to the customers. They also help to analyze, design, plan, and implement strategies to improve business operations and productivity within the organization. He believes, a well thought through architecture is core foundation of world class products and solutions. He want to make a positive impact on the everyday life of his customers with the systems he architect and design with simplicity and convenience.
Nitin previously served as the director of omnichannel enterprise architecture, and principal enterprise architect of digital and loyalty. Prior to Albertsons, he was a domain architect and senior architect for customer acquisition, retention, marketing and personalization at Macy's in San Francisco between 2015 and 2019. While at Macy's, he designed the Star Rewards Program, which launched in 2018.
Mr. Saksena's career also included several significant roles, including at Mindtree between 2006 and 2015, progressing from an associate consultant to an onsite delivery manager and principal architect. He previously held senior technical architect (consultant) positions at Arch Solutions in Warren, New Jersey, in 2015, Belk in Charlotte, North Carolina, from 2013 to 2015, Whole Foods Market in Austin, Texas, in 2014, and The Home Depot in Bangalore, India, in 2013. Additionally, Mr. Saksena consulted for Sony in Singapore, Intralinks in New York, and Travelport in England, and was a software engineer for Tavant Technologies in Bangalore from 2005 to 2006 and Reliance Infocomm in Mumbai, India, between 2004 and 2005.
Apart from his primary career endeavors, Mr. Saksena has become an accomplished speaker who has presented at various conferences, including the Kafka Conference, the Databricks Conference and the Last Mile Delivery Conference. He is also an invited as an expert in several professional summits throughout San Francisco Bay.
Mr. Saksena's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in computer science and engineering from the Institute of Technology and Management in Gwalior, India, in 2001 and a Master of Technology in information and communication technology from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, in 2004.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Saksena is actively involved in hunger-related projects in developing countries through a charitable trust focused on hunger for kids. His commitment to these causes has positively impacted his community and his professional success.
