Having begun his career in the U.S. Army in October 1996, Mr. Cunningham served as a small arms repair specialist. His exceptional skills in repairing handguns and artillery earned him top honors during his Advanced Individual Training. Mr. Cunningham's dedication to serving his country runs through multiple generations, including his father, a Vietnam veteran, and his grandfather, who served in the Korean War. Mr. Cunningham concluded his military service in February 2001.
After five years in the military, Mr. Cunningham transitioned to civilian life, initially working as a land surveyor for four years before discovering his passion for advertising. His early career included roles such as master control operator at Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc. from 2006 to 2009 and advertising sales representative at Cornerstone Book Publishers between 2009 and 2010. In 2011, he joined MountainKing Potatoes as a sales associate, where he excelled in product marketing and developed new packaging for the company's gold potatoes. Notably, Mr. Cunningham created the first all-natural microwaveable mashed potato, handling the recipe and the manufacturing process.
Mr. Cunningham graduated with honors from the prestigious U.S. Army Airborne School and served with the 82nd Airborne Division. He later received a Bachelor of Arts in electronic media and communications from Texas Tech University in 2009. His education provided a strong foundation for his subsequent roles in advertising and marketing.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Cunningham is dedicated to crafting an engaging movie script and publishing at least one literary work. He also remains committed to staying abreast of the dynamic marketing landscape and embracing innovative techniques to assume a leadership role.
Mr. Cunningham's exemplary service at The U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School was recognized with a plaque from the White House. He has also been recognized with several other awards, including the Outstanding Freshman Award from Texas Tech University, an Army Commendation Medal and an Army Achievement Medal.
