Mr. Glasrud has been president and owner of SAG Enterprises LLC since 2016, and he has dedicated over 40 years to the health care industry. His firm provides strategic, financial and operational commentary and consulting services within the health care marketplace. As such, he follows the SAG Enterprises LLC mission to consult with, invest in and promote organizations with innovative approaches to providing broader access to more affordable, effective and quality health care. This includes a focus on improving the current health care financing system by developing innovative approaches to achieving affordable health care business models and optimizing operational costs.

Besides his primary career obligations, Mr. Glasrud has been an advisory board member at careMESH since 2019. This organization collaborates with companies within the health care ecosystem to provide a comprehensive health care directory that leads to real-time, nationwide communications and operational efficiency, resulting in improved care coordination.

Throughout his career, Mr. Glasrud has been impactful in health care strategic financial planning, health policy, revenue cycle management, and health services operations, among other areas of the industry. His tenure began while he was a graduate student, as a reimbursement clerk at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals & Clinics from 1979 to 1980. He then joined Price Waterhouse (now PwC) as an auditor between 1980 and 1982. Between late 1982 and 1984, Mr. Glasrud gained valuable management experience as a financial analyst at Madison General Hospital (now Meriter). Returning to PwC as a health care consultant and auditor, he was a manager from 1984 to 1988 before becoming a senior manager at Ernst & Young in Milwaukee and then Kansas City from 1988 to 1994.

Over the next 30 years, Mr. Glasrud continued to excel, earning high-level positions with companies like Mercy Health Services (now Trinity) from1994 to 1996 as the director of finance for the Iowa region; the University of Kansas Hospital as the executive vice president and chief financial officer from 1996 to 2011, where here he played a pivotal role in the hospital's transition to an independent public authority, and its subsequent financial turnaround and tremendous growth. His work helped set the stage for the hospital's future success where it ultimately became what is now a $5 billion health system.

In 2012, Mr. Glasrud joined University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) as senior executive vice president, chief operating officer and treasurer. His responsibilities included oversight of all UHC service lines including supply chain, comparative data analytics, and performance improvement. In 2015, he led the negotiation of the sale of UHC's assets and the merger of its operations with Voluntary Hospitals of America to create Vizient Inc. Post merger, Mr. Glasrud participated on the Vizient transition team and acted as an interim executive vice president and special advisor to the CEO until 2016.

Mr. Glasrud's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in zoology and a Master of Science in business with a focus on health care fiscal management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1978 and 1980, respectively. He also became a certified public accountant in 1984.

Active in his community, Mr. Glasrud has been involved over the years with various civic organizations, serving as the treasurer and chair of the board at REACH Healthcare Foundation, Overland Park, Kansas; audit committee chair of the American Heart Association, Dallas, Texas; member of the board of directors for the Kansas City, Kansas, Chamber of Commerce; and treasurer and chair of the congregational board at Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

Throughout his career, Mr. Glasrud has received numerous accolades, including the Hall of Fame Legacy Award from the University of Kansas Health System and being named as a Chief Financial Officer of the Year Honoree for Nonprofit Company-Large by the Kansas City Business Journal.
