Mr. Singh's journey began with a solid K-12 educational foundation at the Salwan Public School in New Delhi, India, where he developed the confidence and innovative mindset that would shape his future career. He continued his education with a degree from Delhi College of Engineering in 1990. Mr. Singh started his IT career at CMC Limited, where he managed a critical IT installation and technology advancement project at the Indian Meteorological Department. His interest in telecommunications led him to pursue a graduate degree at Clemson University under Dr. Joseph L. Hammond. His master's thesis on high-speed network resiliency paved the way for his role at MIL 3 (later renamed OPNET) in 1994. There, he advanced to become a principal, overseeing product design, development, and support for simulation and modeling projects. His progressive leadership at OPNET Technologies culminated in his role as Senior VP of Engineering and Head of Global Technical Support, where he managed a team of over 150 engineers and supported more than 1,000 organizations. His innovations resulted in more than 25 US patents and contributed to OPNET's successful IPO in 2000 and its acquisition by Riverbed in 2012.
In 2015, Mr. Singh co-founded Acintyo, Inc. with his wife, Poonam Singh, a lifelong partner in college and at work. Acintyo focuses on creating innovative apps that integrate mobile devices and social networks to enhance productivity in engaging ways. Their flagship app, Galarm (www.galarmapp.com), a pioneering collaborative alarms and reminders app, has over 4 million downloads across 176 countries, helping users manage their to-dos efficiently and effectively.
Mr. Singh also joined Bublup (www.bublup.com), founded by his former boss, Alain Cohen. Starting as VP of Operations, Mr. Singh quickly became CIO, overseeing cloud hosting and vendor management. At Bublup, a versatile visual cloud storage and collaboration platform, he has driven innovations that include a robust CI/CD platform and reliable hosting for over 8 years without downtime. His product vision has led to key features that enhance productivity for both personal and professional use.
Outside of work, Mr. Singh enjoys photography, singing, watching sports (especially cricket), and mentoring the younger generation. He is also proud of his children: his daughter, Kritika Singh, who earned a PhD in biomedical sciences from the University of Oxford and is a medical school student at Stanford University, and his son, Aaditya Singh, who is completing his PhD in Computer Science at the Gatsby Neuroscience Institute in London.
