Ms. Brown began her career as an auditor with Diego Perdomo & Company in 2003.
Ms. Brown's foundation in accounting was established when she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Puerto Rico in 2003. Further enhancing her credentials, she obtained certifications as a certified fraud examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and as a certified public accountant through the Virginia Board of Accountancy. Outside of her professional life, she is deeply involved in her community through various extracurricular activities. She is a choir member at a local Catholic church and performs with two salsa groups across Maryland. Additionally, Ms. Brown contributes to the democratic process as an election judge and polling place coordinator. She manages to accomplish all of this while she is a mother and wife as well.
