His finance career continued to progress when he joined Farmers Insurance Group of Companies and Farmers Financial serving as an agency business consultant and registered principal from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, Chad shifted his focus to serving clients directly as a financial advisor at Stifel Financial Corp., holding this position from 2013 to 2019.
Mr. Heberly's expertise expanded during his tenure at Chrysalis Wealth Management, where he served as a financial advisor and chief operating officer from 2019 to 2024. In 2024, he founded Prospera Financial and Prospera Investment Advisors, where he serves as chief executive officer and financial advisor. The establishment of Prospera represents a pivotal moment in his career with the launch of his vision to create a comprehensive financial ecosystem that caters to a client's entire personal economy, bringing a family office model that serves the ultra-wealthy to the mass affluent.
Mr. Heberly has been actively involved in various industry-related organizations throughout his career. Throughout his career, he has engaged in a myriad of roles in the community. Chad is a finance committee member and past chair of the YMCA of Pueblo. Additionally, Chad serves as board treasurer of the PEDCO Foundation, board member and finance committee chair of the Colorado State University – Pueblo Foundation, and chair of the Pueblo County Business Resource Oversight Commission. Chad's past roles include treasurer and club president of the Rotary Club of Pueblo West, Chair of the Pueblo West Chamber of Commerce, a member of 30 Club and treasurer of the 30 Club Foundation, and board member of the Parkview Foundation.
Mr. Heberly's academic achievements have significantly contributed to his success. In 2004, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and management with a minor in business administration from Colorado State University-Pueblo. In 2008, he completed a diploma in asset and liability management from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
Mr. Heberly's contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the 40 Under 40 Award from the Pueblo Latino Chamber of Commerce in 2019 and the Man of the Year award from the 30 Club in 2011.
