In addition to her primary role, Ms. Hendrickson has also served as a professional resume writer and consultant for Randstad RiseSmart since 2017. Before her current appointments, she was the principal or head teacher, hiring manager, and writing and English language instructor at Wonderkids English from 2015 to 2021. Her responsibilities there included overseeing educational programs, managing staff, and teaching English language skills.
Prior to these positions, Ms. Hendrickson worked as an English language instructor in South Korea, freelance resume writer, and work-study interviewer, writer, and editor at the University of Toronto.
Educationally, Ms. Hendrickson holds a Bachelor of Arts in professional writing and communications with a focus on sociology from the University of Toronto Mississauga. She has also obtained several certifications that have contributed to her success, such as Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, a Career Coach Certificate from IAP Career College, and a Professional Resume Writer Certification from Randstad RiseSmart.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Hendrickson is actively involved in civic organizations. She volunteers with Meals On Wheels through A Grateful Mind International and Peace on the Move and served as the former secretary on the board of directors for Trust 15 Youth Community Support Organization.
Ms. Hendrickson expresses that writing remains her first love, having published "Peaches and Red Clay" with Life Rattle Press as a student and continuing to work on creative writing projects. She attributes her overall success to her commitment to continuous growth, a mindset rooted in her upbringing that encouraged constant self-improvement.
Outside her career and creative writing, Ms. Hendrickson enjoys music, Zumba, and spending time with her family.
