Prior to that, he held the role of lead technology sales professional at Honeywell International Inc. from 2021 to 2023 and senior process engineer at Lummus Technology in Houston, Texas, from 2020 to 2021. Mr. Amin's earlier tenure at Honeywell includes experience as a lead process engineer from 2018 to 2020, a process engineers III between 2015 and 2017 and a process engineer II from 2012 to 2014.
Mr. Amin's performance in the field was born of his academic journey. He began with an Associate of Science in chemical engineering from Nirma University in 2004, followed by a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the same institution in 2007. He then went on to earn a Master of Science in chemical engineering from Lamar University in 2009. Most recently, Mr. Amin obtained a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2024.
In addition to his academic degrees, Mr. Amin has earned several certifications that have further enhanced his professional expertise. In 2024, he acquired certifications in Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Leveraged Buyout from Onefinnet Inc., as well as Data Science from Dataiku. He also became a certified HIPAA Associate through The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mr. Amin's earlier certifications include SAFe Scrum Master, earned in 2018, and CSSGB, obtained in 2012, both through Honeywell International Inc., along with numerous others throughout his career.
Throughout his career, Mr. Amin has been recognized for his contributions and commitment to excellence. He received an award for "above and beyond contributions" as a fellow of the Graduate Admissions Committee at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2023. Moreover, he was awarded for his "insights to action reflections and leadership attributes" by The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2021.
Mr. Amin's tenure at Honeywell International Inc. was marked by numerous awards and recognitions. He was honored for his "extraordinary service and overall work performance" in 2018 and for leading "global office trainings on digital transformation services and data models" in 2017. Additionally, Mr. Amin was recognized for his "outstanding efforts in supporting global offices with digital transformation development" in 2016, among many other notable accolades.
Outside of his professional career, Mr. Amin is actively engaged with several nonprofit organizations focused on finance, fundraising and ESG initiatives.
