Between 2013 and 2019, Dr. Shah furthered his education by completing an internal medicine residency at the University at Buffalo and a nephrology fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliates of Harvard Medical School.
Over the years, Dr. Shah has continuously expanded his expertise, serving as an assistant professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center from 2019 to 2023. He has published research on the role of human blood microbiome in kidney diseases. Due to his vast knowledge, Dr. Shah spoke at several conferences regarding blood microbiome in chronic kidney disease and utilizing your microbiome to restore your health. His commitment to growth is further demonstrated by his board certification in nephrology and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr Shah excels as a nephrologist in his current position with Maryland Kidney Group. He is affiliated with MedStar Health's Franklin Square Medical Center and the University of Maryland's St. Joseph Medical Center. Additionally, he has furthered his expertise in the human microbiome as the founder of his company, Healing Microbiome. This venture, which stemmed from a desire to discover the root causes of his health problems, has expanded his professional reach and provided a platform for him to share his knowledge and help others. Through his company, he provides an online course and coaching program designed to help people understand, prevent, and manage the roots of chronic diseases without depending on pills. He addresses clients' concerns through groundbreaking scientific knowledge rooted in the connection between quantum physics and the human microbiome.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Shah aligns himself with the American Society of Nephrology and the American Medical Association.
