A seasoned financial services professional/executive with more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Singleton presently serves as a member of the board of directors for the Hershey Trust Company and the Fidelity Rutland Square Trust II at Fidelity Investments. He recently served on the Board of Directors of WisdomTree, Inc. (NYSE:WT). Previously, he served as vice president/managing director, and head of manager selection and portfolio construction for Lincoln Financial Group, where he led an eight-person team working on a $200 billion investment platform. Mr. Singleton also worked in executive roles at PineBridge Investments, where he served as managing director, head of asset management companies and global head of retail and intermediary sales, and earlier roles which included global head of equity and fixed income product specialists and client portfolio management.
During earlier stages of his career, Mr. Singleton gained valuable expertise as an equity portfolio manager, equity analyst and credit analyst with UBS Global Asset Management, Metropolitan West Capital Management, Brinson Partners, Fifth Third Bank, Zaske Sarafa and Associates, and First Chicago Corporation.
Mr. Singleton serves as a Life Trustee on the Illinois Institute of Technology Board of Trustees where he is a member of the Executive Committee and chairman of the Investment Committee. He is also affiliated with numerous high-profile national associations including the Executive Leadership Council ("ELC"), where he chairs the Investment Committee, the National Association of Corporate Directors ("NACD") and the CFA Institute. He was also recognized multiple times as one of Savoy magazine's Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America (2012, 2016 and 2018).
Mr. Singleton earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA in finance from The University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst ("CFA"), has obtained his Directorship Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors, the NACD CERT Certificate in Cyber Risk Oversight and a certificate in "Digital Disruption: Digital Transformation Strategies" from the University of Cambridge's Judge Business School.
