She has experience as an educator in the technology, hospitality and healthcare fields, having taught electronic medical record instruction to staff. She was also a substitute teacher for middle school through adults and restaurant industry coach and assistant manager for 12 years.
Her varied expertise in these fields is underpinned by her academic qualifications, including a bachelor's degree in business management from St. Peter's University, a master's degree in instructional design and educational technology from American Intercontinental University, and a doctorate in educational technology from the University of Phoenix.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Lewis takes the most pride in overcoming numerous challenges. Although she was born with a brain tumor and had multiple surgeries as a child, she has not let those experiences define her. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to her resilience and determination. Within five years, Dr. Lewis aims to continue learning and sharing her knowledge with others.
