During his time at McKinsey & Company, Mr. Mukherjee also worked as a Product Engineer II in Analytics from 2018 to 2019 and as a Senior Technology Analyst in 2017. These positions allowed him to refine his technical expertise, and he gained substantial experience managing complex data projects. Earlier in his career, he made significant contributions at Cognizant, serving in various roles, including Associate–Projects from 2013 to 2017, Programmer Analyst from 2011 to 2013, and Programmer Analyst Trainee from 2010 to 2011.
One significant accomplishment of Mr. Mukherjee's career was his work with a State Department of Labor during the 2020 pandemic, when he was working for Mckinsey & Company. He was instrumental in optimizing claims adjudication processes by implementing effective data analytics methods, significantly improving the efficiency of handling the overwhelming number of unemployment claims during the COVID-19 pandemic. His efforts also led to the accurate detection of fraud and misuse, ensuring financial aid was directed to those who truly needed it, and preventing additional fraudulent unemployment claims.
Another highly significant and rewarding experience in Mr. Mukherjee's career was leading the data initiatives on a large-scale digital transformation project for one of the largest non-profit health systems in the US, encompassing over 100 hospitals & thousands of care sites (e.g., clinics, outpatient centers, etc.). The initiative was aimed to build a front-end patient portal to improve care and patient experience by consolidating data from multiple EHRs other systems. While working as a Data Engineering Project Leader at BCG.X, Mr. Mukherjee oversaw Data Integration, Data Profiling / Quality & Master data management workstreams & by standardizing information was able to drive towards building a platform that was EHR-agnostic, transforming the approach to patient experience and managing care.
Mr. Mukherjee holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from St. Thomas' College of Engineering and Technology, India which he earned in 2010.
