Her early career includes working as a research consultant with Hollywood, Health & Society, an internship with the Pasadena Public Health Department, a fellowship with the National Institutes of Health in Ghana, and several other student research roles.

She earned her doctorate in epidemiology from the Keck School of Medicine of USC in 2023 after completing a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and cell biology at the University of California San Diego in 2016. She also holds an Associate of Arts in math pre-engineering and biological sciences from San Diego City College and was the national Olympiad winner of the Baccalaureate high school exam in her native country, Burkina Faso. She is the founder and chief executive officer of Sahel and Sahara Peace and Empowerment, a nonprofit organization established in 2018. Under her leadership, the nonprofit has also contributed to constructing wells to ensure clean drinking water access in the communities they serve.
