Her intrinsic facility with people and knowledge of specific industry needs led to her promotion to director of business development in 2017 where she continued to drive business expansion and forge new partnerships. Since 2019 Mrs. Habbar has enjoyed the opportunities presented while fulfilling the office of Vice President of Global Marine. In this capacity she guides customers in galley design projects; acting as liaison between customers and designers she leverages her extensive expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
Mrs. Habbar holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business from CCI Nantes Saint- Nazaire. She is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including serving on the board of directors for the Marine Hotel Association (MHA) since 2020. Additionally, she is a member of WISTA International, a global organization connecting female executives and decision makers around the world. These affiliations and others reflect her commitment to advancing the industry and supporting her peers.
With a goal envisioning DL SERVICES as the future "Amazon" of Cruise Industry outfitting, Mrs. Habbar shares her long-term vision including establishing Galley at Sea Academy whose charter is to develop a training academy and accreditation avenue for kitchen design companies who want to expand into the marine market through certification training in cruise regulations worldwide – including Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP), commonly referred to as USPH, and ShipSan. The academy will be a fantastic opportunity to have her customers, partners, and collaborators share their knowledge and expertise with future generations. Her role encompasses overseeing the academy's operations and strategic direction, ensuring it meets the highest standards of excellence. Looking ahead, she aims to establish her academy with the support of investors.
Mrs. Habbar is an accomplished author, having penned an autobiography that details her personal and professional journey.
