Since 1984, he has thrived as a professor and the chairperson of the department of psychology, the department of natural and social sciences, and the department of general education at Calumet College of St. Joseph. Focusing his attention on general, clinical and experimental psychology, Dr. Kovach has also served as the president of Joseph W. Kovach and Associates Ltd. since 1969 and the director of the Educational Research Exchange since 1988.
