Her experience also includes a tenure as a sales manager at Omni Hotels & Resorts from 1995 to 1997 and as a resident manager at The Driskill Hotel from 1991 until 1994. Prior positions in Ms. Brooks' career path include a two-year post as an assistant general manager at The Hotel Jerome in 1989 and four years of experience as a management trainee at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 1985.
Ms. Brooks' academic background provided her with a solid foundation in business principles and conflict resolution, skills that have been instrumental in her success as an entrepreneur and industry leader. She attended Dallas College North Lake Campus from 1984 – 1990 and a certification in mediation and dispute resolution from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in 2010.
